We’re currently looking for: a motivated and detail-oriented Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our Indirect Procurement team, with a primary focus on the Software category. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end sourcing process, driving cost savings initiatives, negotiating vendor contracts, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure best results from cost, quality, timing perspectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in strategic sourcing while contributing directly to business efficiency and operational excellence.  

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a category strategy for software procurement in collaboration with key stakeholders and IT leadership. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies accordingly. 

  • Support sourcing initiatives, including RFIs/RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations. 

  • Maintain vendor relationships, manage contract renewals, and monitor supplier performance where applicable. 

  • Work closely with Legal, Finance, and IT teams to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation. 

  • Conduct market and supplier research to stay current on trends and benchmark pricing. 

  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and best practices. 

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the procurement organization. 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field. 

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in the software category or technology domain. 

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite / Google Workspace; experience with procurement tools (e.g., Coupa, Netsuite) is a plus. 

  • Must reside near and be able to work from our Denver, CO or Belmont, CA office. 

  • Excel at relationship building 

  • Be able to be tactical while pushing for strategic improvements 

Preferred: 

  • Experience in indirect procurement within a mid-to-large sized enterprise. 

  • Familiarity with software licensing models, SaaS agreements, and vendor risk assessments. 

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills.

If you are hired in Colorado the compensation range for this position is between $85,400 and $122,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
