About the position: 

We are looking for a highly technical team member to join our team, able to articulate high-level business benefits to the various target audience, who is creative, innovative and results-oriented willing to go the extra mile in a fast-paced environment.  

As a Solutions Architect, you are an integral part of the organization.  You will work closely with North America pre-sales teams to assist with opportunities and with more complex projects where your skills and subject matter expertise may be needed to help drive and raise awareness, architect and design solutions for our customer, prospects and technology partners.  In addition, you will work closely with product management, marketing, field sales teams, and engineering to influence the product strategy and roadmap, develop collateral, whitepapers, solution guides and compelling demos within our Innovation Solutions lab. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, technology partners, and represent Netskope at industry events and conferences as needed. This is a highly visible and strategic position both within the company and across the industry-wide and a great opportunity to advance your career and make an impactful contribution.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Work directly with North America field teams, customers and technology partners to map business and technical requirements to expertly design technology solutions that help meet or exceed customer needs
  • Help drive technical assessment, qualification and engagement
  • Build, manage and maintain global solution labs to assist field teams with POCs, demos, solution validations and testing
  • Manage all aspects of our Innovation solutions lab used for customer demos, partners, and proof-of-concepts
  • In-depth product presentations, demonstrations, and management of prospect evaluations
  • Design interoperability/integration solutions with adjacent technology partners
  • Help raise awareness with the technical communities (SE, support, customer success) at technology partner, systems integration and services partners by training and collaboration
  • Work closely with various Netskope teams to build solutions, collateral, and demos that can be leveraged by Netskope, channels, technology and SI partners
  • Author blogs, whitepaper and solution guides
  • Articulating high-level benefits of the Netskope solution to a target audience (Including Senior Security Management, CISO, CSO, and CIOs)
  • Represent Netskope at partner and industry events as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) and User Groups when needed

What you offer: 

  • 10+ years of deployment experience in similar role or experience in a technical leadership role
  • Previous experience as a solution architect, consultant or technical marketing engineer building, architecting or deploying security solutions
  • Proven track record using it to help drive revenue.
  • Working knowledge of the broader threat landscape and the ability to distill technology trends, and explain complex behaviors in simple terms
  • Proven experience working with customers and partners in successful design and deployment of solutions
  • Ability to juggle and successfully drive projects with customers, prospects, and partners.
  • Experience with cloud computing solutions implementations including Microsoft Office 365 and Azure, Google, AWS, Box, and Salesforce, etc.
  • Proven hands-on experience with information security solutions such as Web Proxy, NGFW, Security Gateways, SIEMs, SAML/SSO, DLP, Data security and protection technologies such as HSM, Tokenization & encryption gateways.  
  • Experience working with Active Directory Services including ADFS, working knowledge of Azure AD is desired
  • Knowledge of web application programming XML, REST/SOAP API’s, REST, JSON,
  • Strong knowledge of LDAP, Active Directory, SAML, SSO, RBAC
  • Experience in cloud computing based services architecture, technical design and implementations including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery models.
  • Strong knowledge of Security Architecture, Design and Operations
  • Knowledge of security and cryptography.
  • Knowledge of cloud/virtualization technologies, such as VMware vSphere, EC2, Xen, KVM, OpenStack
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect)

Job Requirements: 

  • Self-starter that can work independently and exercise judgment on a regular basis with minimal oversight along with a ‘can do’ attitude with a willingness to take a hands-on approach.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Must be willing and able to travel

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
