Job Summary**
The Senior Subcontracts Administrator will manage and administer various subcontracts for Primoris Energy Services projects, ensuring compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards. This role involves full lifecycle subcontract administration, from solicitation and negotiation to closeout.
Job Responsibilities**
* Develop, negotiate, and administer subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders in accordance with project requirements and company procedures.
* Prepare and issue Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitation for Bids (IFBs) to potential subcontractors, analyze proposals, and recommend selections.
* Review and interpret subcontract terms and conditions, identifying potential risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
* Act as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, resolving contractual issues and disputes in a timely and effective manner.
* Monitor subcontractor performance against contractual obligations, schedules, and budgets.
* Collaborate with project managers, legal, procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
* Maintain accurate and complete subcontract files and documentation.
* Participate in subcontractor pre-qualification and evaluation processes.
* Support audit activities related to subcontract compliance.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior subcontracts administrators.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in subcontract administration, preferably within the energy, oil & gas, or heavy industrial construction sectors.
* Proven experience in negotiating and managing complex subcontracts.
* Strong understanding of contract law, terms and conditions, and risk management principles.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
* Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or similar certification is a plus.
