The Opportunity:
The energy grid is changing faster than ever — and the infrastructure behind it needs to keep pace. As a Senior Sales Manager - Power Stability, you will be at the forefront of one of the most strategically significant growth markets in GE Vernova's portfolio. This is more than a sales leadership role. You will help define how GE Vernova enters and wins in the Power Stability space across North America, building a market, shaping procurement conversations, and closing complex, high-value deals that directly support the clean energy transition. What You Will Do:
- Own the North America growth strategy for Power Stability, spanning Transmission, Distribution, Power Generation Utilities, and Independent Power Producers (IPPs) — from early-stage market development through to multi-million dollar contract closure.
- Build and lead high-value relationships with Transmission System Operators (TSOs), Distribution System Operators (DSOs), regulators, utilities, and strategic partners, influencing plans, shaping procurements, and positioning GE Vernova as the partner of choice.
- Drive orders performance for Power Conversion & Storage North America in a segment that is central to the business's long-term growth agenda.
- Translate complex customer challenges into compelling, commercially viable solutions — acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on both the technical and commercial dimensions of Power Stability.
- Lead through influence across matrixed, cross-functional, and multicultural teams to bring the full force of GE Vernova's capabilities to every customer engagement.
- Identify and shape emerging market opportunities, providing strategic input to product, technology, and go-to-market decisions as this segment scales.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a related field. Highly prefer a specialization in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in sales and/or business development in technology, energy or a related field.
- Significant experience in senior sales and/or business development roles within the technology, energy, or power sector, with a demonstrated track record of closing high-value, complex contracts.
- Proven ability to build and manage strategic relationships with utilities, grid operators, or energy developers at a senior level.
- Experience working effectively across matrixed, cross-functional, and multicultural team environments.
- This role is not eligible for employer immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
Desired Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of medium voltage power conversion technology, including power electronics and electrical rotating machines.
- Experience influencing procurement processes and regulatory frameworks alongside TSOs, DSOs, or similar grid infrastructure stakeholders.
- Prior exposure to emerging or nascent market development — ideally within renewable integration, grid stability, or energy storage.
- Willingness to travel per business needs.
For candidates applying to a Canadian-based position, the pay range for this position is between $133,200.00 - $183,200.00 CAD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
