Responsibilities
Own end-to-end recruiting for all company roles, from intake through offer and close.
Partner with and advise hiring managers to define role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, and build effective interview processes.
Develop and evolve our sourcing strategy across channels, functions, and candidate segments.
Own and continuously evolve the candidate experience across the interview lifecycle.
Partner with VP of People and leadership on headcount forecasting and hiring strategy tied to business/growth objectives.
Oversee reference and background check processes and vendor relationships.
Own ATS (Lever) and other systems/vendors related to recruiting (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc).
Continuously improve recruiting processes, tools, and employer branding.
Drive Lightship’s participation in community job fairs and other recruiting events.
Define, track, and report on pipeline metrics and hiring funnel health.
Manage temporary contractors and external recruiting agencies as needed.
Act as a champion for company culture and values throughout the hiring process and internally.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of full-cycle and technical recruiting experience.
Proven track record hiring across multiple functions (hourly, engineering, sales, G&A, etc).
Ability to operate independently and drive searches with limited oversight.
Experience building and scaling recruiting processes.
Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage a high volume of open roles simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting at an early-stage and/or high-growth startup.
Experience in EV, manufacturing, or hardware industries.
