The Senior Rails Engineer will play a key role in expanding and maintaining our core product — the web application that powers our iPad-based visitor management solution. You’ll collaborate across the company to deliver high-impact features, optimize system performance, and keep our codebase clean, testable, and scalable.

- Collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership teams to scope, plan, and deliver value-driven work
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code that balances present needs with future flexibility
- Build and improve third-party integrations to make our customers’ visit data even more powerful

- Passion for the customer experience and a willingness to engage in user feedback
- Curiosity-driven approach to problem solving — you like to figure out how things work
- A “get it done” mindset that balances persistence with healthy boundaries
- Commitment to quality, testing, and debugging — you care about reliability and trust
- Experience with third-party integrations (webhooks, JSON APIs, etc.)
- Basic understanding of mobile platform constraints and opportunities
