Position Summary:   

We are looking for an experienced, Denver-based Product Manager to join the team to help build our next generation of student transportation capabilities. In this role, you will own and manage a product line focusing on developing and enhancing our pricing and routing solutions for school transportation.  You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a flexible, scalable product. You will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, execution of our school transportation routing products, unlocking key opportunities for school districts, drivers and our internal teams to meet the transportation needs for more students. 

Salary Range: $140,000-$155,000/year, based on experience + bonus potential  

Location -  Greenwood Village, CO. Hybrid role – 4 days in the office and 1 day remote. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of internal products that allow for more extensible and transparent pricing models, routing efficiency, transportation costs, and enhance our overall school transportation operations 
  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for our school transportation pricing and routing solutions 
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape 
  • Leverage data analytics and optimization approaches to continuously improve pricing and routing algorithms 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, analytics, design, sales / revenue operations, and routing operations to define and prioritize features in the product roadmap 
  • Create, prioritize, and maintain a detailed roadmap that aligns with actionable outcomes, company goals, and customer requirements 
  • Understand the needs and challenges of key stakeholders, including school administrators, transportation coordinators, and internal sales and operations teams 
  • Translate user feedback and requirements into actionable product features and enhancements 
  • Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements, use cases, user stories, and acceptance test criteria, partnering with internal and external engineering teams to deliver them 
  • Communicate product updates, milestones, and key performance metrics to internal teams and stakeholders 
  • As a part of normal business operations, employees in this role may access and/or modify electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI) in a manner compliant with requirements set forth by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)  

Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of proven experience as a Product Manager 
  • 1+ years experience with consumption-based pricing, transportation routing, logistics solutions or other optimization domains, including familiarity with routing algorithms, GIS and routing/pricing optimization techniques is highly desired 
  • Proven record of accomplishment in delivering data-driven solutions with a customer-first mindset to establish and validate hypotheses to maximize value 
  • Established background in launching software or managed service in partnership with engineering and stakeholder teams, including Sales and internal operations enablement 
  • Experience successfully driving end-to-end delivery of data and intelligence solutions, including a wide variety of mechanisms, e.g., dashboards, APIs, real-time monitoring, workflow pipelines, etc.   
  • Experience in the education sector or with school transportation systems is a plus

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a customer-first focus 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven prioritization approach 
  • Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen 
  • Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage, influence and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment 
  • High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability
