About the role

The Senior Marketing Manager plays a critical role in leading and executing Riot’s marketing programs across the company’s evolving business - from its Bitcoin mining roots to its fast-growing data center operations. This role blends creative vision with operational precision, driving campaigns, conferences, sponsorships, and activations that bring Riot’s brand and story to life with energy, consistency, and purpose.


Essential Functions

  • Lead integrated campaigns across Riot Platforms and subsidiaries, ensuring a unified and compelling brand presence.
  • Build and execute annual marketing calendars spanning digital, content, and experiential channels.
  • Manage conferences, sponsorships, and event storytelling that connect customers, partners, and investors.
  • Oversee digital presence (website, social, email) and evolve content strategy in partnership with Communications.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align marketing with corporate and operational milestones.
  • Develop creative briefs, manage agency and vendor relationships, and oversee budgets and performance metrics.
  • Translate complex products and operations into clear, inspiring marketing moments.
  • Measure and report marketing impact, optimizing based on data-driven insights.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proven success developing and executing campaigns across digital, content, and experiential channels.
  • Exceptional written communication and editing skills, with the ability to refine copy for clarity, tone, and executive audiences.
  • Strong creative instincts and the ability to simplify complex ideas into memorable brand stories.
  • Experience managing budgets, agencies, and cross-functional projects.
  • Confidence leading teams and translating creative direction into measurable impact.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with technical or industrial storytelling (e.g., data centers, energy, Bitcoin mining).

Education and Experience 

  • 5+ years leading integrated marketing, ideally in high-growth or multi-brand organizations.

Compensation and Benefits 

  • Base salary range $125,000-145,000 commensurate with experience
