We're looking for a Senior Insurance Product Manager to help build the most loved car insurance on the planet. Our Car line is growing fast, and this role sits at the center of it — shaping strategy, driving profitability, and making sure every product decision moves us closer to an experience that's fast, simple, and genuinely great for customers. You'll work closely with Actuarial, Insurance Operations, and Underwriting as a core member of our Insurance Product team.

We believe three things matter for every role at Lemonade: drive to push through challenges, efficiency that keeps standards high while moving fast, and adaptability that lets you pivot with data and AI insights. These aren't buzzwords, they're how we actually work.

Our AI-first approach isn't just a tagline either. We're building the future of insurance with AI at the center, and we need people who are genuinely excited to learn and grow alongside these tools.

In this role you'll
  • Own the strategy and roadmap for key areas of Lemonade Car, setting priorities that drive profitable growth across new customer segments and channels

  • Build, lead, and coach a high-performing team of insurance product managers and analysts — setting clear goals, developing talent, and fostering a culture of ownership and accountability

  • Lead your team through the shift to AI-first ways of working, championing adoption, redesigning workflows, and helping each person build new skills

  • Design and continuously improve the processes that move product changes from concept through regulatory approval and into production — raising the bar on speed, quality, and efficiency

  • Advance our countrywide Car strategy through rating plan enhancements, coverage improvements, and increased underwriting sophistication

  • Align Insurance, Engineering, Data, and Product around shared priorities — surfacing trade-offs, removing blockers, and keeping the team moving fast

  • Serve as a trusted voice to executive leadership, presenting strategy, performance metrics, and recommendations with clarity and conviction

What you'll need
  • 8+ years of P&C experience, with a minimum of 6 years in personal lines car insurance state or product management, required

  • 1+ year direct management experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with a knack for identifying trends and driving action

  • Strategic thinker with an ownership mentality, willing to challenge the status quo and propose creative solutions

  • Superior organizational and project management capabilities, comfortable managing multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong collaborative spirit and exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work in a remote environment

  • Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture

*Please note that we are unable to sponsor applicants for work visas

Unfortunately, we cannot consider applicants from these states; Colorado, California, Montana, Hawaii, New Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Lemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000 - $160,000 plus equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
