Senior Financial Analyst - Customer Success Strategy

HubSpot is on a mission to help millions of organizations grow better – and here on our Customer Success Strategic Finance team, we’re excited to search for a Senior Financial Analyst focused on strategy and analytics to help get us there.   • How can we help our customers get the most value from our platform?
  • What are the leading indicators of customer retention and expansion?
  • How do we evolve our Customer Success strategy to drive long-term growth and efficiency?

You will be a member of the Strategic Finance Team supporting Customer Success and Marketing. Your focus will be deep partnership with business leaders to enable them make smarter decisions leveraging your deep analysis and strategic insights.

You'll leverage your advanced financial modeling skills, data fluency, and ability to drive clarity in ambiguity. If you’ve got experience in strategy consulting or strategic roles in tech, great – and if not, we welcome your unique perspective. This role offers significant career growth potential through ownership of high-impact, cross-functional initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive strategic analysis to uncover opportunities that improve customer retention, product adoption, and customer health.
  • Build sophisticated yet flexible models that inform Customer Success strategy, forecast outcomes, and simulate business scenarios.
  • Synthesize data and insights into compelling stories and strategic recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Act as a thought partner to CS stakeholders, embedding yourself in their strategic priorities and providing guidance grounded in data.
  • Shape and lead white space initiatives, where you’ll be expected to create structure, propose frameworks, and influence direction in new, undefined areas.
  • Present findings to executives and help steer Customer Success strategy through effective communication and stakeholder management.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A track record of success. 3+ years of high-performance experience, working in strategy consulting or tech finance is a plus, as is exposure to working with/in GTM functions. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience. MBA/CPA is nice to have.
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to structure ambiguity, extract insights from data, and enthusiastic utilization of AI tools are table stakes of this position
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling – you don’t just crunch numbers, you explain what they mean and why they matter.
  • Strategic, curious mindset – someone who’s always asking “why?”, thinks beyond the numbers, and seeks to shape business direction.
  • Collaborative, proactive approach to cross-functional partnership – especially with Commercial/GTM teams.
  • Ownership and initiative, with a bias toward action and innovation.

Cash compensation range: 90400-135600 USD Annually

Pay & Benefits

The cash compensation below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are tailored to your skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

Annual Cash Compensation Range:
