The Enablement team at Cohesity is on a mission to equip our World Wide Field Organization with the skills, tools, and capabilities required to sell effectively and operate at scale. Our team partners closely with Sales, Sales Engineering, Operations, and Technology to drive seller productivity, consistency, and adoption of modern selling practices.

As the Senior Enablement AI Specialist, you will own how artificial intelligence is applied across Enablement to improve seller effectiveness and efficiency. Reporting to the Vice President of Enablement, this role serves as the expert owner for AI applications and use cases within Enablement, partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders to design, scale, and measure AI‑enabled seller workflows.

This role plays a critical part in shaping the future of AI‑supported selling at Cohesity by translating real field workflows into scalable, practical AI solutions that drive impact across Sales Engineering, Account Executive Enablement, Renewals Enablement, and other field functions.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

  • You will define Enablement’s AI application strategy, including standards, frameworks, and reusable patterns that support consistent AI adoption across the field.

  • You will deconstruct Sales Engineer workflows and identify opportunities where AI can automate, augment, or accelerate technical sales activities.

  • You will apply deep technical expertise comparable to a Cohesity Sales Engineer to ensure AI solutions align with real customer engagement requirements.

  • You will partner with Sales Engineering leadership, Enablement stakeholders, and AI partners to design, pilot, and scale AI‑enabled tools.

  • You will collaborate across Enablement functions, including AE Enablement and Renewals Enablement, to identify and prioritize AI use cases that can be reused at scale.

  • You will work closely with the CIO AI and IT teams that own the core AI platform, providing application‑level requirements, guidance, and enablement perspective.

  • You will define instrumentation, dashboards, and success metrics to measure adoption, effectiveness, and business impact of AI‑enabled workflows.

  • You will serve as a trusted advisor to Field sellers, Enablement leaders, Finance, and Revenue Operations, translating complex AI concepts into clear, actionable guidance.

WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Deep technical background comparable to a Cohesity Sales Engineer, with experience supporting customer‑facing technical workflows.

  • Proven experience applying AI or automation to sales, enablement, or customer‑facing use cases at scale.

  • Demonstrated ability to define standards, frameworks, and best practices adopted across multiple teams.

  • Experience leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives without direct people management responsibility.

  • Strong strategic thinking paired with hands‑on execution and delivery.

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders through expertise, data, and clear communication.

  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and helping define new capability areas.

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making.

  • Must have English language proficiency. Can interact with a degree of fluency when speaking, reading, and writing in a professional and specialized setting.

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.

Pay Range :

$187,200.00-$208,000.00

The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.

In-Office Expectations
Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
