Q2 is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team of innovators. Our team designs online banking software consisting of high quality technology solutions that enable financial institutions and their customers to securely communicate and transact anytime and anywhere via online banking, mobile banking, and voice banking. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design and build scalable, high-quality solutions that enhance our core technology platforms, with a focus on internal development tools and technologies used by our Engineering teams. You’ll be part of the growing Helix Platform team, which is dedicated to delivering innovative, high-volume SaaS systems using modern tools and agile methodologies. Your work will directly support our engineers in efficiently delivering robust features to our customers.

A Typical Day
- Collaborate with your team through asynchronous communication, video calls, or in-person meetings as needed. You'll work within agile methodologies to refine work items, remove blockers, and balance planned initiatives with incoming requests.
- Apply your combined DevOps and Software Engineering expertise to tackle a wide range of tasks, from quick fixes to complex implementations, all based on priority.
- Ensure compliance with security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls at every stage of your work.
- Provide technical leadership by mentoring teammates, sharing knowledge, and promoting best practices across the team and organization.
Bring Your Passion. Do What You Love. Here's What We're Looking For:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or
- Equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Preferred Industry Background
- Experience in FinTech, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), or related domains is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Python and SQL (MS SQL Server).
- Familiarity with modern data platform technologies such as Snowflake, Airflow, DBT, and Apache Spark.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Resource Manager, Azure DevOps, and Docker, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Comfortable working with command-line interfaces.
- Experience with containerized development and orchestration using Kubernetes or Nomad.
- Strong networking and platform observability skills.
- Understanding of system administration and experience in automating SDLC processes for SaaS platforms and tools is a plus.

- Strong design sensibility with a pragmatic approach to meeting deadlines.
- Passion for improving the Engineering experience and automating routine tasks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to provide on-call or emergency support as needed.
This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
