The Center at Park West is looking for a Scheduler/Central Supply Coordinator to join our team! The Coordinator is responsible for preparing schedules and maintaining appropriate staffing levels in the nursing departments on a 24-hour basis according to administrative requirements. These individuals are also responsible for central supply ordering for the Center. The selected individual for this position will receive a competitive salary and benefits.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and maintains the schedule for the nursing department
  • Works with leadership and management to plan, recruit and hire nursing staff when needed
  • Calls in replacements in the event of an employee call-in or no-show
  • Reports employees to Management who violate call-off/PTO policies; as well as reports inconsistencies, job vacancies and scheduling concerns are reported to management to address.
  • Verifies employee work hours with the payroll department on a routine basis to ensure payroll is disbursed accurately and reporting errors as necessary
  • Ensure all telephone orders are confirmed with a written purchase order.
  • Ensure all purchase orders are properly prepared, signed and submitted as required in procurement policies and procedures.
  • Assist in preparing correspondence and claims concerning damaged merchandise, errors in shipment, etc., and return to vendor as required.
  • Assist in developing methods for determining quantity of supplies and equipment required
  • Organize storage, issue and delivery of supplies and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Check invoices, purchase orders, packing slips, etc., with incoming merchandise.
  • Ensure inventory is updated as required, when receiving/issuing supplies and equipment. 
  • Ensure storage instructions are followed.

  • CNA REQUIRED 
  • Possesses strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrates authoritative but fair leadership qualities.
  • Should have friendly and calm demeanor
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must work well with a team
  • Must be able to provide clear instructions to employees.
