Job Summary
F&G is growing very quickly in the Bank and Independent Broker-Dealer channel. The Regional Vice President is responsible for growing market share for F&G’s fixed, indexed, and registered index-linked annuity products in the [Region].
This position will work closely with and report directly to the Divisional VP , Financial Institutions Channel, partner with a Senior Internal Wholesaler (SIW) and liaise with National Accounts Team to grow annuity market share for F&G in the assigned territory.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver a winning business and marketing plan to build out a multi-state territory, establishing F&G as a leader in our space
- Develop deep relationships with financial professionals based on the value you provide, the knowledge you share, and the integrity you operate with
- Partner with Bank Program Managers, OSJs and other key centers of influence to help educate advisors and grow their businesses
- Demonstrate with advisors how F&G’s annuity solutions can help create a more predictable retirement for their clients via phone, video, and face-to-face meetings
- Collaborate with our National Accounts Team to uncover opportunities for broader exposure at each bank or Broker-Dealer we partner with
- Partner and plan with Senior Internal Wholesaler to effectively operate your territory as a team
- Represent F&G at industry conferences, distributor meetings, and other events as requested
- Prioritize your time and budget effectively to meet or exceed sales targets for the territory
Supervisory Responsibilities: This role does not have formal people leadership responsibilities but may provide guidance, mentorship, or subject matter expertise to others.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Extensive knowledge of retirement income planning and annuities
- Expert delivery of presentations to all audience sizes
- Clearly articulated history of growing territories
- Well-respected by the financial professional community in your territory
- Proficiency in utilizing web-based sales and training tools, including Microsoft 365 and Salesforce
- Creativity: the ability to package often commonly available information and ideas in a creative and memorable way
- Superior communication skills: oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are critical
- Be comfortable with change and able to adjust as we grow
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree-Combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
- 10+ year of relevant experience successfully wholesaling in the bank and IBD channels
- Licenses/Certifications - Life Health Licenses, FINRA Series 6 or 7, Series 63 (or 65 or 66) Licenses
