What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work directly with the Paint Robot Team to keep our paint line running smoothly by:
- Ability to work with voltmeter, paint applicators test stand, seava air cap tester, oscilloscope, solder equipment and welder.
- Operate and maintain robotic and paint application equipment per control plans, ensuring quality and delivery targets are met.
- Perform and document required maintenance, calibrations, parameter settings, and robot PMs to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Identify, document, and help resolve product, process, or quality issues in compliance with IATF-16949 requirements; verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Perform cross-functional assignments per established procedures, work guidance sheets, TPMs, and quality alerts.
- Maintain professional radio etiquette.
- Work overtime as required and perform other duties as assigned.
- Proficient in using diagnostic and testing equipment, including volt meters, test stands, air cap testers, oscilloscopes, soldering equipment, and welders.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork and problem-solving skills in a continuous improvement environment.
- Adhere to all safety policies; work safely at all times, report unsafe conditions, accidents, and near misses promptly, and maintain proper ergonomics.
- Meet customer and company quality standards; direct non-conforming parts appropriately.
- Support lean and continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S updates.
- Meet or exceed daily production goals and accurately record/report production data.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas; properly store tools and report equipment issues.
What We’re Looking For

- Mechanically inclined
- Comfortable troubleshooting equipment issues
- Experienced with electrical or mechanical repairs
- Ready to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Dependable, motivated, and eager to learn
Automotive manufacturing experience is a bonus!
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in a technical field preferred
- Relevant hands-on experience may substitute for education
- If you are currently pursuing a related degree- we’ll consider that too.
