The Opportunity:
CACI is responsible for providing comprehensive Integrated Product Support (IPS) services for the Tactical Integrated Ground Suite (TIGS) System of Systems (SoS). These services cover a range of support categories including management, engineering, maintenance, supply, data, training, continuous support, infrastructure, logistics, and personnel. The primary objective of these diverse services is to ensure warfighting readiness across the globe by increasing the operational availability and mission effectiveness of all currently deployed and future TIGS SoS.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing and developing RF system architecture.
- Decomposes customer requirements and defines key RF capabilities and performance requirements for solutions or products with supporting electrical and performance parameters.
- Identifies and assesses commercial component solutions for complex RF systems.
- Possesses demonstrated mastery of RF communication principles and other RF and aperture engineering domain knowledge in order to design, develop, and support system advancement against mission requirements.
- Defines total systems design and technology maturity constraints in accordance with mission requirements.
- Develops system element architecture and design and interface definitions.
- Defines system implementation approach and operational concept. Develops models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development.
- Provides technical and strategic direction related to the implementation of system architecture by other staff.
- Competent communicator with executives and key program stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Masters or PhD in RF engineering.
- Ten years of RF engineering development experience in the DoD environment.
- Proven experience designing and developing systems in DoD environment.
- Experience with analyzing/developing RF Link Budgets.
- Previous Digital Signal Processing development and integration experience.
Desired:
- Experience working with DoD partners to define requirements.
- Experience with US Army RF systems.
- Experience developing and improving system development processes, including familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering.
- Experience with AESA architecture.
