What You Will Do

As a Research Expert, you will oversee project management and provide strategic insight to our clients in the delivery of custom research services. You come from a market research supplier or vendor and understand quantitative research designs, interpretation and analysis of results, while maintaining strong client relationships. In addition, you are comfortable working with data sets, and have a passion for finding answers through monitoring, analyzing and understanding results across a wide variety of industry topics. 

How You Will Spend Your Days

  • Independently manage and coordinate all aspects of the ad hoc research process that our clients have us fully manage for them, including: 
  • survey design and development for a wide range of client project needs 
  • survey programming in Alchemer (not required, but a plus) 
  • testing (QC) survey links for final programmed client surveys before launch 
  • working with our Research Solutions team to create tab plans and check data tables when using outsourced vendors for analysis 
  • creating and pulling data as needed from Alchemer reporting, including checking all soft launch data 
  • interpret findings to provide summaries and reports 
  • experience with PowerPoint (required) and Google Slides (desired) 
  • Working closely with our Project Managers and Support team as needed to ensure that high-quality, reliable results are delivered to client in a timely, cost-efficient manner 
  • With oversight from the RS leaders, foster strong client relationships and work to develop those relationships through frequent client contact including participation in meetings/presentations, and delivering insightful, thoughtful research. 
  • Provide training, guidance and support to other non-research staff 

What You Bring to this Role

  • 3+ years of direct market research experience  
  • Live in Denver/Louisville area to be in office 3-4 days/wk 
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects and to create, manage, and commit to a project plan, schedule and budget 
  • Data savvy with a strong attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Sound understanding or research principles, designs, methodologies 
  • Resourceful, pragmatic and flexible  
  • Enjoy working in a team environment 
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills with well-developed interpersonal and presentation skills 
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities 
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software systems; SPSS, Displayr or similar a plus, but not necessary 
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher 
  • The ability to travel around 5-10% as-needed 

Compensation for this position includes an hourly rate of $36.05 and is a contract role with potential to become full time after 6 months.
