Summary:
The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for acting as a mediator between the business, recruiters and potential employees. They need to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management providing trusted guidance on opening requisitions and scheduling candidate interviews.
As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will need to be knowledgeable in the best human resources practices and be a critical thinker with a keen attention to detail. Knowledge of social media is preferred, especially sites like LinkedIn. You will be the point of communication between hiring managers, recruiters and job applicants so strong communication and attention to detail skills are a must.
This is a remote position, but candidates must live in Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Colorado, Massachusetts, Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, or Illinois.
What you will do:
Create and produce consistent, accurate job postings for multiple disciplines with the guidance of the Recruiting Manager
Writing and posting job descriptions on career websites, newspapers and universities boards
Contribute to the development and implementation of creative sourcing strategies by utilizing the latest digital avenues and tools to create pipeline candidates to close sourcing gaps
Develop and utilize a social media recruitment strategy including Boolean searches
Research, propose and contribute to building suitable and beneficial digital community partnerships and networking to enhance our candidate pipeline
Help the hiring teams with recruiting methods and interview questions
Continuously develop business knowledge and acumen of company and departmental objectives, industry and corporate challenges and current market dynamics
Analyze market signals/trends, candidate behavior and advances in technology such as AI related to digital recruitment
Stay abreast and implement the latest digital recruitment techniques and recruitment channels with the guidance of the Recruiting Manager
Contribute to successful development and usage of our Talent Acquisition technology platforms
Utilizes MediaNews Group’s online applicant tracking system (Workday Recruiting) to maintain candidate information and accurate data for reporting purposes
Schedule, track, and confirm candidate interviews
Send surveys to candidates and manage the collection of feedback
Ensure new hires are compliant by accurately completing and submitting I-9 and E-Verify forms
Leverage AI powered tools and platforms to streamline and optimize daily functions
Source candidates from sites such as LinkedIn and Indeed to present to Recruiters for their open positions

Solid knowledge of how to leverage various sourcing tools, especially digital, social media and online networking

Strategic thinker with the ability to identify a steady stream of prospective talent in anticipation of future talent needs

Systems savvy; strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (Workday Recruiter a plus)
Creative thinker and innovator with a drive to promote the discovery and development of highly effective recruiting processes and business practices
Understanding of HR compliance and industry regulations
You thrive on innovation and resilience
Views every interaction as a network opportunity and are skilled at utilizing technology to glean potential candidate information in today’s digital world
High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management preferred
One (1) year of customer service or support
Workday Recruiting experience preferred

Benefits and Compensation:
The salary range is $56,000 - $61,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to geographic location, education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, the Company offers eligible employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, as well as paid time off and select paid holidays (all benefits are based on eligibility).
