Quality Controller I

Position Purpose:

The Quality Controller position will ensure the final edited projects align with the producer's vision and are broadcast-ready for television. This position is also responsible for formatting and adding captions to the completed videos.

Essential Duties:

• Ensure editors compile complete broadcasts with relevant content, including main teaching, b-roll, promotions, music, and graphics that enhance AWMI's message.
• Perform quality control on multiple show versions.
• Meet daily/weekly deadlines consistently.
• Adhere to established media organization and archiving protocols.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all processes and procedures for Quality Control.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Familiarity with Frame.io software.
• Familiarity with digital technology and editing software, especially Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder, is advantageous.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Team player with the capability to work independently.
• Proficient in Mac-based computer operation.
• Must be able to effectively operate a Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to navigate Adobe Premiere for show previews.

Requirements:

• Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Must sign the Statement of Faith.
• A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
• A Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
• Must pass all required checks.

Experience:

• Experience in video editing is preferred.
• Compensation is commensurate with experience.
