This position is responsible for gathering and synthesizing complex engineering data including cycle times, material costs, labor requirements, and facility capacity to create accurate, data-driven estimates for new business bids, internal project proposals, and outsourced work opportunities. • Maintain and update engineering standards for distribution and manufacturing processes; ensure standards reflect current operational realities to feed into accurate cost modeling
  • Collaborate with the Forecasting team to evaluate how new bid volumes impact existing facility capacity; leverage capacity analysis tools and AI-driven predictive modeling to determine if new business can be absorbed or requires CapEx investment
  • Develop robust business cases for new project initiatives, clearly outlining ROI, labor savings, and material cost avoidance to support company cost-efficiency OKRs
  • Serve as the technical point of contact during the RFP/RFQ process, working closely with Industrial Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams to validate that bid assumptions are feasible

  • Strong understanding and practical application of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies focused on operational efficiency and cost reduction
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical operations and commercial bid requirements through cross-functional collaboration
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to present technical data and project ROI clearly to senior leadership
  • Strong task management and problem-solving abilities to handle RFP/RFQ processes and manage competing project priorities

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Minimum Experience: 3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing operations, or production planning
  • Required Technical Skills: Must have experience with:
