What You Will Do

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager/Program Manager to join our team. The Business Systems Technology and Strategy team focuses on the overarching theme ‘Scalability’ and how to prepare and enable Trimble to successfully execute our vision to connect the physical and digital world. Our mission is to empower business stakeholders through collaborative, continuous improvement, building trust as we deliver tailored, high-quality solutions that align with the organization's strategic goals.

The Project Manager/Program Manager is a strategic, hands-on leader responsible for driving the successful planning, execution, and delivery of the team's most critical, cross-functional business systems projects, including the TAP eCommerce platform (iStore). This role will ensure key strategic objectives, particularly those related to system enhancements, integration and core process improvements, are achieved on time, within budget, and with high quality. 

About the Role

Program Leadership & Delivery

  • Strategic System Ownership: Take ownership of TAP eCommerce platform (iStore), define strategic direction and align with OKRs and roadmap. Translate Marketing and Sales requirements into business requirements and resolve uncertainties between the technical team and business stakeholders

  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Lead and coordinate efforts across Technical Managers, Business Systems Manager and functional specialists to ensure alignment and dependency management across various systems (Salesforce, Oracle, etc).

  • Change Management: Spearhead organizational change management efforts across all key program rollouts, ensuring successful user adoption and minimal business disruption for new systems and processes.

  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate program risks, escalating critical blockers to the leadership team.

Reporting and Communication

  • Performance Visibility: Utilize Jira and other tools to define and report on standardized project metrics, providing clear, actionable insights into project velocity and team performance to leadership.

  • Stakeholder Management: Manage communication and expectations with all business stakeholders, providing transparency on status, timeline changes (especially for delayed projects), and resource requirements.

Process and Documentation Excellence

  • Improve Operational Efficiency: Champion the team's mission by establishing and enforcing rigorous project management processes, documentation standards, and communication protocols.

  • Knowledge Base Development: Ensure key project learnings are documented and integrated into the team's central knowledge bases.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in business or technical field, or equivalent professional experience

  • Experience in business systems management and change management.

  • 5+ years of experience in Project or Program Management, specifically managing complex IT projects, business systems, or enterprise-level software implementation (e.g., CRM/ERP systems like Salesforce, ORACLE).

  • Exceptional organizational ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects, dependencies, and complex team structures.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Highly motivated and quick learner

  • Demonstrated ability to drive consensus, foster a culture of trust and collaboration, and lead cross-functional teams toward a shared vision.

  • Able to lead a team to achieve stretch goals in a fast-paced, deadline - driven work environment

What We'd Love to See

  • Knowledge SaaS environment
  • Knowledge of Positioning Services and Global Services offerings is a plus
  • Comfortable working in a changing environment 
  • Experience with Jira (or any other issue tracker tool) is preferred
  • Experience with Oracle iStore or Oracle E-Business Suite is preferred
  • Proven ability to manage projects involving AI/LLM components (given the "NotebookLM" context and Gemini ecosystem) is a strong plus.

Compensation:  Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.

Hiring Range

$79,900.00–$106,000.00
