Responsibiltities:
Operational Leadership
- Oversee and monitor all aspects of the onboarding and ingest process to ensure timely delivery of priority assets ahead of launch.
- Provide advanced support to Specialists and Coordinators for complex workflows, acting as an escalation point and solution owner.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to streamline processes, optimize cross-team workflows, and maintain alignment on deliverables and timelines.
- Ensure adherence to content prep standards, encoding requirements, and compliance guidelines.
Client and Vendor Engagement
- Help manage client communication and new vendor onboarding, setting expectations for deliverables, turnaround times, and quality standards.
- Serve as a primary operational contact for high priority launches and issue escalations.
- Create and maintain positive, proactive relationships with partners to streamline collaboration and reduce cycle times.
Process and Documentation
- Create, finalize, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive consistency and efficiency across teams.
- Lead and train team members on new workflows, ensuring adoption and operational readiness.
- Generate and manage TECHPMR development tickets and escalate systemic issues to leadership when necessary.
- Reconcile and maintain process documentation, including workflow diagrams, trackers, and user guides.
Project and Initiative Ownership
- Own and drive project initiatives, maintaining visibility of all open items, risks, and milestones.
- Identify opportunities for workflow automation and optimization to support scale and reliability.
- Track cross-departmental priorities and communicate progress to leadership.
- Provide off-hour support for time-sensitive launches as needed.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in media operations, production, post-production, or digital distribution (streaming preferred).
- Proven ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven workflows with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and communication skills; adept at managing client relationships and driving accountability.
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement process documentation and SOPs.
- Proficient in using media and metadata management systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot operational issues and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to resolve them.
- Highly organized, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable leading meetings, training sessions, and cross-team initiatives.
- Willingness to work in New York, NY, Denver, CO, or Los Angeles, CA
Additional Requirements:
- This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
