We are looking for an experienced Program Manager, Analytics with analytical and technical expertise, business acumen, and demonstrated success using data to drive large-scale business outcomes. You should have deep experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision making, along with an understanding of data center planning and execution. 

In this role, the successful candidate will partner closely with engineering and business leaders to develop scalable BI and analytics solutions that improve visibility, identify risks and opportunities, and enable better decision making across the data center delivery lifecycle. You will translate complex business questions into data requirements, metrics, dashboards, and actionable insights, while driving improvements in data quality, reporting automation, and analytical processes.

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale data assets, dashboards, data models, and automated workflows that enable reliable, high-velocity decision-making. 

  • Develop a deep understanding of the data center delivery lifecycle, business processes, and underlying data to provide actionable insights and drive continuous improvement. 

  • Partner with internal teams, including Scheduling, Planning, Engineering, and Execution, to identify data and process gaps and improve business processes, reporting, and decision support. 

  • Develop and implement innovative solutions that improve data quality, reporting accuracy, automation, and usability of BI products. 

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and deliver scalable analytics and business intelligence solutions that address complex business needs. 

  • Identify bottlenecks and opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency, and scale analytics capabilities across teams and organizations. 

  • Serve as a trusted analytics partner to business leaders, providing insights and recommendations that support effective planning and execution. 

  • Synthesize complex analyses and clearly communicate methodologies, assumptions, findings, risks, and recommendations to technical and executive audiences. 

  • Translate ambiguous business questions into well-defined analytical problems, determine the appropriate data and methodology, and turn results into actionable business decisions.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in mathematics, business program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience. 

  • 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects 

Other Requirements:  

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:  

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of SQL experience, with expert-level proficiency in developing complex, highly optimized queries across large-scale datasets. 

  • 3+ years of experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence and visualization platforms. 

  • +4 years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. 

  • Demonstrates deep subject matter expertise on key functional areas of engineering, procurement, construction, mechanical, electrical, networking, and building automation systems. 

  • Expertise working with large-scale data sets and analytics tools (e.g. PowerBI, PowerApps) to derive insights and make process improvements. 

  • Understanding business and financial objectives and plans accordingly. 

  • Demonstrates technical excellence in learning and applying successful strategies and implementing improvements to engineering methods and quality practices across the data center delivery portfolio.

Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year.
