Position

Pacific Office Automation is seeking a Production Print Specialist to join our Centennial, Colorado team. The production print specialist will qualify, train, and demonstrate production print equipment to our production customer base as well as our outside sales representatives.

Essential Job Duties

  • Work with sales representatives and customers in driving and maintaining Production Print activity focused on understanding the needs and driving towards a production solution.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by providing specific technical sales support and training as needed.
  • Ability to demonstrate software and hardware solutions to sales representatives and customers.
  • Constant contact with current Production Print accounts and sales representatives
  • Perform extensive customer needs analysis and site surveys, meet with key players, and identify challenges within the account's organization to provide ongoing expertise, training, and services to internal and external customers.
  • Be proficient and able to discuss variable print data, workflow solutions, software, and network applications
  • Be competent and able to demonstrate, install, and troubleshoot equipment RIP’s
  • Participate in daily pre-sales activities with sales representatives
  • Prepare for customer demonstrations of Production Print products, services, and product training
  • Assist in proposal preparation & presentation with salespeople.
  • Develop an implementation and training guide for each Production Print installation
  • Perform all Production Print installations and training within the specified territory
  • Work closely with our Technical Service team to gather information and escalate technical issues found in the field while training.

Qualifications

  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and work under fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy.
  • Ability to calmly handle high paced situations.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Computer and customer service skills.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must know how to use Microsoft Word and Excel.

Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in the production print industry required
  • Experience with Fiery Print Controllers and software applications preferred
  • Experience with Ricoh/Canon/Konica Minolta/Xerox digital presses helpful
  • Experience in the wide format printing is preferred but not required
