We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating production schedules to ensure optimal efficiency, meet demand forecasts, and maintain inventory control. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic supply chain environment, utilizing advanced ERP systems and manufacturing principles to support seamless production operations. The Production Planner plays a critical role in aligning production plans with business objectives, ensuring timely delivery of products, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand planning, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and procurement teams to align production plans with overall business goals.
  • Utilize ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle to input, monitor, and adjust production data accurately.
  • Manage MRP (Material Requirements Planning) processes to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve workflow efficiency and reduce lead times.
  • Conduct forecasting activities to predict future demand and adjust production schedules accordingly.
  • Monitor inventory management and control processes to ensure stock levels meet production needs without excess.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and delivery of finished goods.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks or delays in the production process and develop contingency plans.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of scheduling activities for reporting and continuous improvement purposes.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with MRP systems and demand planning methodologies.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Expertise in manufacturing processes, inventory management, and inventory control strategies.
  • Ability to analyze data for forecasting purposes and develop accurate production plans.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
