Company Overview

Valimail is a fast growing, venture funded startup and the leader in Email Authentication as a Service. Here is your chance to get in on the ground floor at an important technology innovator and to help build a major business service category. We have built a revolutionary platform on top of open standards — DMARC, DKIM, and SPF — for the first time it makes it possible for any organization to protect itself against email impersonation. Valimail pioneered the notion of automated email authentication, with innovative components like our DNS-based Authenticator (including our patented Instant SPF). We’re committed to building a more trusted email ecosystem.

Frequently cited statistics show that women and underrepresented classes will only apply to roles if they feel they meet 100% of the qualifications. At Valimail, we encourage you to break through that statistic. Roles evolve over time, especially with innovation, and you may be just the person we need in the future. NO ONE ever meets 100% of the qualifications. We hope you're open to learning new skills in order to grow with us. Make our team, your team!

Position Overview

We are looking for a Product Marketing Specialist, reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, who will play a key role in shaping how our products are released and communicated, from market-facing launch campaigns to ongoing internal education. This person brings a mix of technical understanding and customer empathy to everything they do, helping turn features into benefits and customer value. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and project management skills and experience collaborating with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to support product launches and go-to-market initiatives.

The application window for this role will close on July 11, 2025.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Plan the launches of new products and enhancements, and coordinate the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
  • Lead and create product launch communications, both internally and externally, including data sheets, demo videos, customer communications, sales deck slides, and more.
  • Develop and co-lead enablement sessions for all GTM teams on upcoming product launches and releases.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with IT buyers in collaboration with product management, sales, and marketing.
  • Create product-related content to support lead generation, sales enablement and customer education.
  • Collaborate with the Product Marketing team to support ad hoc product marketing activities such as persona development, customer testimonials, market and competitive analysis, customer events, and go-to-market strategies.

About You

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in product marketing, sales enablement, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, and can confidently deliver presentations to audiences of all sizes.
  • Hands-on experience building product marketing assets, including datasheets, demo videos, and other product collateral.
  • Excellent writing and content creation skills, with the ability to translate complex product information into easily digestible materials.
  • Experience with B2B SaaS companies and/or email security is a plus.
  • Bonus points for experience with systems like G2, Clozd, and Highspot.

Who We Are

The company's full line of cloud-native solutions authenticate sender identity to stop phishing, protect brands, and ensure compliance; they are used by organizations ranging from neighborhood shops to some of the world's largest organizations, including Uber, Splunk, Yelp, Mercedes Benz USA, and the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration.
