The Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented Product Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for researching, deploying and measuring the effectiveness of multiple marketing channels (e.g. direct mail, email, mobile, online, phone).The goal is to deliver personalized, relevant, and timely communications associated with marketing campaigns to credit unions’ members. Ultimately, this position will enable credit unions to successfully compete in the marketplace by implementing cross-channel marketing strategies.

The Product Marketing Specialist is also responsible for managing the selection and relevance of all marketing creative available to our Member Owners, including letter and email templates, website creation and overseeing any marketing collateral used within the Portfolio Marketing and Communications team and application.

This role is the primary contact and workflow coordinator for all marketing collateral projects which require collaboration among different departments within Velera.

In addition, this position provides marketing campaign management functions, including assignment of between five and seven credit unions. When acting as a Consultant, transforms data-driven findings and conclusions into actionable recommendations and results-oriented campaigns for the benefit of member/owner credit unions. Responsible for finding meaningful patterns, trends and relationships by drilling through, analyzing and summarizing large amounts of data and communicating and explaining the findings effectively to member/owner clients of various levels of functional and technical expertise.

Assist credit unions with achieving portfolio growth through management of data, campaign planning/execution, and forecasting campaign results through planning sessions, consulting and portfolio review directly with credit unions.

Day in the Life:

  • Research the viability of new marketing channels available within Velera and set strategic goals to make them available for campaigns.

  • Research, collaborate, design and implement alternative marketing channels offered by outside vendors.

  • Develop and maintain a user’s guide and best practices document for all marketing channel options available.

  • Provide strategic recommendations for the use and measurement of the different marketing channels available.

  • Execute cross-channel marketing campaigns to test and collect measurable results.

  • Evaluate the success of different marketing channels by calculating response rates and ROI and documenting results.

  • Analyze performance of different channels and recommend enhancements to improve response rates.

  • Understand and influence customer behavior through data analysis and industry understanding.

  • Design creative marketing direction for custom projects.

  • Provide quality control over projects.

  • Consult with key personnel (including executive management level) at assigned credit unions monthly to identify, develop and implement strategies that leverage the effective use of Velera’s solutions to drive the growth and success of the clients debit/credit card portfolios.

  • Leverage knowledge of data querying and summarization tools to process large databases, to transform the raw data into business information that helps clients fulfill strategic objectives.

  • Develop and execute strategic recommendations; including specific marketing campaigns and cross-selling of complimentary solutions.

  • Develop, enhance, maintain and use financial performance models to develop and understand projected performance of proposed recommendations.

  • Lead the department in maintaining infrastructure and implementing new systems supporting new applications, products and services for PSCU and our member credit unions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance or Computer Programming or combination of education and experience required.  MBA preferred.

  • Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite is required.

  • Four (4) years quantitative analysis experience or direct credit/debit experience required.

  • Five (5) years relationship management required.

  • Experience in managing workflows and assignment of business based upon abilities.

$75,800.00

to

$96,700.00

Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
