The platform includes leading cyber threat intelligence, digital risk protection, physical security intelligence, executive protection, and attack surface intelligence.

Collaborating closely with stakeholders across Engineering, Product Management, Marketing and Sales, this role is accountable for identifying market opportunities, defining launch strategies and outcomes, building and orchestrating the readiness for GTM teams, and creating compelling communication about our product to the market. This is a big opportunity for someone passionate about the power of product marketing as a function of product management to drive real customer impact.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cybersecurity marketing, with a well-rounded, results-oriented track record as a persuasive storyteller and content creator, a savvy business strategist and an excellent communicator.

This role is instrumental to ZeroFox’s mission helping organizations to protect their digital footprint and minimize its risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own product positioning, messaging, and proof points for defined products, solutions, and capabilities within the ZeroFox platform
  • Champion the voice of the customer and the reality of the threat landscape throughout the product lifecycle, from ideation and roadmap input through launch, adoption, and expansion
  • Translate technical capabilities, threat intelligence, and platform workflows into credible, market-ready narratives and assets
  • Define customer segments, use cases, and sales motions, and enable Sales and partner teams with clear messaging and supporting tools
  • Develop high-quality PMM assets including pitch decks, solution briefs, battlecards, website content, and launch materials
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on buyers, buying criteria, competitive alternatives, and relevant security and technology trends
  • Partner closely with Product Management and Threat Intelligence to validate messaging, avoid superficial claims, and maintain technical accuracy
  • Collaborate with Growth and Demand Generation teams to support integrated go-to-market campaigns and programs
  • Leverage modern AI tools and workflows to accelerate research, synthesis, drafting, and iteration while maintaining rigor and accuracy

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in product marketing or a closely related role within B2B software
  • Experience in cybersecurity software, with strong preference for exposure to threat intelligence, digital risk, fraud, or adjacent domains
  • Demonstrated ability to develop clear, differentiated positioning and messaging for technical products
  • Technical fluency sufficient to read and interpret product documentation, threat research, and architecture concepts
  • Strong content creation skills across sales enablement, web, and go-to-market materials
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Threat Intelligence, Sales, and Marketing teams
  • Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and execute with discipline in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience

AI, Technical & Modern PMM Skill:

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Gamma, or similar
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts including structured prompts, role prompting, iterative refinement, and output evaluation
  • Ability to design repeatable AI-assisted workflows for research, competitive analysis, drafting, and presentation development
  • Strong judgment in validating AI-generated outputs against product truth, primary sources, and threat reality

Desired Qualification and Skills:

  • Strong passion for cybersecurity and protecting organizations from real-world threats
  • Comfort operating in a high-expectation, execution-oriented environment
  • Analytical ability to reason about technical concepts and derive clear, defensible customer value
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on clarity over hype
  • Strategic thinking paired with a bias toward execution and measurable impact
  • Curiosity, intellectual rigor, and a commitment to producing accurate, useful work

Benefits

  • Compensation $125,000 - $160,000
  • Community-driven culture with employee events
  • Respectful and nourishing work environment, where every opinion is heard and everyone is encouraged to be an active part of the organizational culture
