Responsible for promoting use of industry and Company technology standards. Monitors emerging technologies/technology practices for potential use within the company. Designs and develops updated infrastructure in support of one or more business processes. Helps to ensure a balance between tactical and strategic technology solutions. Mentors, reviews codes and verifies that the object oriented design best practices and that coding and architectural guidelines are adhered to. About the Team:
The Global Platform Management team is responsible for technical product management and architecture for EntertainmentOS and Connected Living product suites. This includes supporting Sky Glass & Stream, Xumo Stream Box, and the X1 & Xfinity Stream entertainment experiences.
Core Responsibilities:
- Architects cost-effective systems for video processing, storage, and playback
- Works with engineering teams to identify and implement optimization opportunities
- Guides teams on platform migrations.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide solutions that align with business goals and architectural standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, maintainable, and timely delivery of technology solutions.
- Define system and subsystem architecture, document requirements, and oversee the full project lifecycle.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate innovative solutions to enhance system capabilities.
- Mentor team members and contribute to technical strategy, including intellectual property development.
- Communicate technology direction and architectural approaches to stakeholders.
Preferred Skills & Experience We’re Looking For:
- Experience with IP ABR video delivery, DASH & HLS, ISO-BMFF & CMAF
- Experience with AWS S3, IBM COS / Cleversafe, Pure Storage, or similar S3 based on-premise storage systems
- Strong background building large storage systems
- Ability to be a change agent for a team

This job can be performed in Denver Campus with a Pay Range of $166,096.33 - $249,144.50Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
