Partner Solution Architect, Fabric & Data, at Microsoft is accountable for building and co-selling Microsoft Cloud and AI solutions and services with global enterprise partners. Our partner portfolio includes global systems integrators, advisory and consulting organizations, and software development companies / independent software vendors. We work with partners to build differentiated capabilities and solutions that help customers transform their businesses and realize value from Microsoft technology.

We are looking for a Partner Solution Architect, Fabric & Data aligned to Microsoft’s Partner Solutions Architecture team, with a focus on Data & Analytics. In this role, you will work directly with strategic partners to design, build, and scale modern data and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric and the broader Microsoft data platform.

You will help partners translate customer business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and repeatable solutions across data engineering, analytics, real-time intelligence, data science, and embedded analytics. You will also help partners strengthen their technical capabilities, develop differentiated offerings, address solution blockers, and accelerate the adoption and consumption of Microsoft technologies.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop modern data solutions: Guide partners in designing and building scalable, secure, and performance-optimized solutions using Microsoft Fabric and related Microsoft data and analytics technologies.
• Deliver partner technical engagements: Lead technical discussions, architecture design sessions, workshops, proofs of concept, and solution development activities with increasing independence and accountability for end-to-end outcomes.
• Build partner capability: Provide hands-on technical enablement and architecture guidance that helps partners deepen their expertise across data engineering, analytics, real-time intelligence, data science, and embedded analytics.
• Develop repeatable partner offerings: Support partners in translating technical capabilities into differentiated, repeatable, and scalable offerings that address customer requirements and create measurable business value.
• Accelerate solution adoption: Identify and help resolve technical blockers affecting solution development, deployment, adoption, and consumption. Collaborate with partner teams, Microsoft sales teams, engineering, and other technical stakeholders to move opportunities forward.
• Connect data to business outcomes: Help partners understand customer data and analytics needs and translate those needs into solution architectures that support data modernization, actionable insights, operational intelligence, and AI-ready data foundations.
• Contribute to technical communities: Share partner insights, technical learnings, solution patterns, and proven practices with internal and external technical communities. Contribute to initiatives that improve readiness and enable solutions to scale across partners and customers.

• Microsoft Fabric architecture and operational aspects:
• OneLake, Mirroring, and Shortcuts
• Lakehouse, data warehouse, and real time architectures
• Spark and Microsoft Fabric notebooks
• Data engineering including Dataflow Gen2 and data pipelines
• Semantic models and Power BI
• Data science and advanced analytics
• Fabric Copilot, Data Agents and Fabric IQ
• Microsoft Azure database technologies and operational aspects:
• Azure SQL
• Azure Database for PostgreSQL
• Azure Cosmos DB
• DocumentDB
• Complementary technical skills:
• SQL for data modeling, transformation, and analytics
• Python for data engineering, analytics, and automation

Cloud Solution Architecture IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $86,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $113,300 - $187,400 per year.
