Operations Manager

Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Operations Manager to join our Asset Lifecycle Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading onsite data center operations and serving as the primary liaison between Iron Mountain and our global technology clients to ensure high-performance service delivery. You will oversee a geographically dispersed team, ensuring operational excellence, data security compliance, and superior customer success.

Location for the role: New Albany, Ohio

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and Develop Teams: Manage and motivate a geographically dispersed team by defining objectives, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a "One Team" culture of accountability and growth.
  • Drive Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the onsite lead and primary communication node between Iron Mountain and client stakeholders to align service needs and improve site performance.
  • Manage Operational Excellence: Oversee data eradication processes, audit workflow efficiency, and manage performance metrics to ensure 100% compliance with organizational and safety standards.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Leadership Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience leading highly effective, cross-functional teams within a fast-paced or matrixed environment.
  • Client Relationship Management: 5 years of experience in account management or client services, with a proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Technical & Operational Proficiency: Strong knowledge of project management best practices and proficiency in Google Suite for data tracking and reporting.
  • Education & Physical Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree and the ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs, along with a valid driver’s license for intercampus transport.
  • 25% Travel
