At Johnson & Johnson, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where talent and passion thrive. We are seeking a dedicated National Account Director (NAD) to take strategic leadership over our largest health systems across the Western U.S., with preferred locations in Texas, Arizona, Colorado, California, or Washington—within forty miles of a major airport.
This role reports to the Area Vice President of National Accounts and acts as the company’s quarterback, representing all three MedTech business units—Surgery, Orthopedics, and Electrophysiology—and developing enterprise-wide strategies that make a real difference in patient care and organizational success.
We are the world's most broadly-based manufacturer of Pharmaceutical and MedTech products, committed to providing high-quality, scientifically sound solutions that heal, cure, and improve quality of life. Our ambition is to work together to shape innovative approaches that benefit patients, our communities, and our organization.
In this vital role, we will build and deepen long-term strategic relationships within major National Health Systems, serving as the primary point of contact to promote both immediate and sustained account growth. We will focus on developing genuine, positive relationships with key decision-makers, including supply chain leaders, value analysis committees, peri-operative teams, and other influential groups—collaboratively crafting system-wide product decisions that serve all stakeholders. We will develop and implement innovative IDN strategies to accelerate key performance metrics such as revenue growth, improved pricing, new product launches, and digital capital positioning, ensuring that our efforts align with our shared mission.
We will work together to coordinate with account teams and aligned business partners across the Field Sales Organization (FSO), fostering a team-oriented process that drives shared success. We take ownership of contract management activities—guiding RFPs, renewals, deal creation, and ensuring smooth performance and compliance—while expanding access to key product categories and introducing new innovations aligned with JJMT’s strategic goals.
As an Account Team leader, we will align efforts toward broader enterprise objectives, working closely with business unit leaders, as well as national and regional (GPO) account teams. Our strategic approach will include designing contract strategies and pricing across multiple platforms and product lines, including multi-franchise and overlay programs.
We believe success comes from strategic account planning, strong leadership, and keen business insights. We leverage data analytics, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem to shape impactful action plans. We value high-level mediation, clear communication, and the ability to work through ambiguity to achieve the best outcomes.
We are committed to providing reasonable accommodation to support a diverse and inclusive workplace. If you are passionate about driving innovative solutions, building meaningful partnerships, and making a lasting impact on healthcare, we invite you to explore this opportunity with us. Together, we can make a difference and grow within a market-leading organization dedicated to mastery and excellence.
