The Engine Systems Program Manager sits on the project leadership team and assists projects in meeting cost, schedule, and performance goals for the Engine Controls Production portfolio. This exciting opportunity will expose the selected candidate to a wide range of challenges on a cross-functional, cross-site, multi-national team. Responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate with Engineering, Sourcing, Contracts, Finance, and Operations on new obsolescence and alternate part development work
- Coordinate with our FADEC International partner in France and our customer on obsolescence and alternate part identification and management
- Manage the obsolescence program, ensuring smooth execution of obsolescence purchases and proper consumption & accounting of strategic inventory
- Manage subset of Engine Controls Production programs, touching all phases of the product lifecycle
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
- Demonstrated professionalism and excellent written and interpersonal communication skills to interface and negotiate with and present to a variety of stakeholders including coworkers, leadership, partners, customers
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related discipline and a minimum of 6 years of experience in program management or a manufacturing-related discipline
- Experience in the avionics/electronics industry
- Collaboration and leadership skills with demonstrated success partnering with cross-functional colleagues
- Capable of working independently and within team(s) to solve problems
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment that requires a high degree of initiative, adaptability, and closure orientation
- Proficiency with business tools such as Excel and PowerPoint
