Job Responsibilities:
Your Responsibilities:
- Review Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and ensure technical requirements align with project needs.
- Collaborate with vendors to clearly communicate specifications, expectations, and standards.
- Work with suppliers to specify, select, and source equipment such as conveyor belts, manipulators, lifting devices, filling equipment, torque tools, and fixtures to meet project requirements.
- Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, and qualification to ensure readiness for production use.
- Plan and manage equipment layouts, utility requirements, and factory readiness for new line setups and modifications.
- Develop and update 2D AutoCAD layouts to support factory planning and project execution.
- Ensure seamless integration of new equipment into existing manufacturing processes.
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to equipment, including manuals, maintenance logs, and as-built drawings.
- Utilize PLC programming skills to configure, modify, and optimize automated equipment controls and processes.
- Implement upgrades or modifications to equipment software and controls as required to support process improvements and new product introductions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize and automate manufacturing processes.
- Initiate and lead continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment safety, reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure all equipment complies with company and regulatory safety standards.
- Provide training and guidance to production and maintenance teams on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance best practices.
- Communicate project updates, issues, and successes proactively to all stakeholders.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with 3-5 years of Automotive Industry related experience.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- Ability to analyze production processes and implement improvements.
- Experience in training staff on equipment use / maintenance and providing leadership in equipment-related projects.
Your preferred qualifications:
- Familiarity in the automotive industry, industrial equipment, and automation
- Master's degree in automotive/mechanical/manufacturing with 1-2 years of Automotive background.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
