Thirsty Lion Gastropub is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join the team!! We have great opportunities for management for our restaurants.

Our restaurant managers are a talented group that have a passion for the industry and enjoy working in a fast paced, high volume environment.

Thirsty Lion Gastropub combines warm and inviting environment with an eclectic menu featuring a variety of multi-cultural cuisines and from-scratch cooking with a commitment to local, seasonal ingredients and bold flavors.

At the bar, a wide range of local craft beers are available and cocktails are crafted with fresh fruit purées, juices, and premium liquors, while wines come in 25 varieties. Enjoy a craft brew and meal while watching the game on one of the flat screens amidst an open kitchen, central bar and a patio that soaks up the sun.

Thirsty Lion’s mission is to evolve the gastropub business by creating a place where friends and family can come together, celebrate life and enjoy hand-crafted food, beer and cocktails.

Thirsty Lion was established in Portland Oregon and currently has 11 locations in Oregon, Arizona, Colorado and Texas with plans to continue growth nationwide.

Qualifications

Qualifications are as follows:

  • Minimum of 3 years high volume restaurant/bar management
  • Experience with craft cocktails, draught beer and wine and show track record of developing high quality bartenders is preferred
  • Personal philosophy that guests and employees come first
  • Exceptional team building skills
  • Track record of growing restaurant and bar sales by employee engagement,
  • guest satisfaction and creative ideas
  • Must have the drive and desire to be the best!
  • Must be unflappable! Thrive in high volume situations and communicate well with FOH and BOH staff
  • Respectful of the kitchen, the food, the guests and co workers
  • History of success in meeting or exceeding budget requirements and managing staffing, inventory, production and execution of very high standards
