The role and its impact

As Marketing Manager, you will plan and deliver the go-to-market work behind campaigns that help accounting and bookkeeping partners get more from Xero. Working within our Partner Marketing team, you will take campaigns from requirements through to results: shaping creative briefs, organising the people and resources needed, building the project plan and schedule, and keeping cross-functional teams moving so milestones are met. Your focus will sit across mid-funnel partner activation, event promotions, and the process improvements that help the whole team Go Further.

The impact of this work is measurable and shared. Your campaigns show up in registrations and attendance at partner events, in engagement across our always-on communications, and in the quality of leads reaching our sales teams. You will Go Together with colleagues in events, sales and global marketing, and Go Fast by making sensible calls when the full picture is not yet available.

The team and how they connect

You will join our North America Partner Marketing team, reporting to the Head of Partner Marketing, US, and working alongside our Head of NA Events and two Senior Marketing Managers. Together the team looks after partner activation across the region, from always-on communications through to industry and Xero-hosted events.

Initially, you will focus on

➔ Promotions planning and delivery for industry and Xero-hosted partner events, coordinated across the US sales and events teams
➔ Always-on campaigns including the AB Bulletin, Xero Coaches and Xero CAS, with clear tracking of how each one performs
➔ Integrated campaigns end to end: audience segmentation, the go-to-market plan, internal alignment, delivery and reporting on results
➔ Our toolkit of Salesforce, marketing automation and email nurturing, Google Workspace and campaign reporting, with A/B testing to keep optimising

Where and how you can work

This is a 12 month fixed-term contract and we have hybrid or remote work options available depending on location.

Here are some of the things we're looking for, for this role

➔ You will bring experience across marketing, marketing communications, business operations or project management, including event promotions measured on registrations and attendance
➔ Organising competing priorities comes naturally to you, and you keep hold of the detail without losing sight of the bigger picture
➔ Collaborating inside a matrixed organisation is familiar territory, whether with integrated marketing colleagues or external agency partners, so you can Go Together from brief through to delivery
➔ Taking a go-to-market plan all the way through to delivery with a genuine sense of ownership is work you enjoy
➔ An experimentation mindset matters to you, and you will Go Bold by testing, learning and optimising campaigns across every channel
➔ Comfort with Salesforce, marketing automation and Google Workspace will help, alongside clear and considerate communication in writing and in person

Apply even if your experience isn't a perfect match! At Xero, we hire based on your skills, passion, and the unique perspective you can bring to enhance our culture and team.
