DaVita Venture Group (DVG) is the innovation and investment arm of DaVita, focused on transforming care delivery to improve quality of life for patients around the globe. DVG leverages a mix of acquisition, partnership, and venture investment strategies to develop products and services that improve care for patients suffering from kidney disease and related comorbidities. We are seeking a creative, passionate, and driven  professional with an interest in healthcare to join our team. The primary focus of the role will be leading the strategy, project management, and execution of innovative partnership initiatives from concept through scale. This individual will design and manage pilots, evaluate results, develop recommendations for broader deployment, and partner closely with operating teams to implement successful solutions across the enterprise.

The position is based in Denver, CO and the team operates in a hybrid (in-person/remote) model and will be in office 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and ensure the viability of early-stage partnership integration into the respective business unit with the aims of demonstrating feasibility and creating the foundation for scale partnership strategy
  • Partnership Strategy Development: Assist with the identification and assessment of potential strategic partnerships that align with the company’s objectives, market trends, patient needs, and competitive landscape. Directly engage patients, physicians, and other key stakeholders to understand the customer perspective. Develop opportunity sizing analyses and business cases to quantify potential impact.
  • Project Management: Lead the execution of early-stage pilot programs from concept through completion, serving as the owner responsible for project management, stakeholder coordination, issue resolution, and delivery against key milestones. Work closely with internal operators and external partners to translate strategy into execution, test core assumptions, generate evidence of impact, and establish the foundation for scale
  • Opportunity Assessment: Conduct primary and secondary market research to test core assumptions and develop partnership theses. Assist with making recommendations to leadership on external investment and partnership opportunities supported by research on market trends, competitive landscape analysis, reimbursement trends, regulatory considerations, and other indicators of business viability
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze partnership performance metrics to evaluate success and inform future strategic decisions
  • Talent Development: Direct line management and development of analyst team with responsibility for their ongoing professional development, training, and performance management
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and industry leaders to foster collaboration and mutual benefit
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align partnership initiatives with business objectives and ensure successful execution

Qualifications & Required Skillset:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, strategy, healthcare operations, implementation, management consulting, business development, innovation, or related fields, preferably within healthcare
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and managing strategic partnerships, or leading cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation, including managing ambiguity and driving results across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Familiarity with the clinical, operational, and financial drivers that impact decision-making in a healthcare organization (e.g., services, pharma, device, technology sectors are all relevant)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience evaluating program performance, developing business cases, and synthesizing complex findings into actionable recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and deliver organizational objectives through immediate team of direct reports
  • Intellectually curious mindset and passion for developing novel partnership strategies to improve patient outcomes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly collaborative, team-oriented workstyle and resourceful problem-solver
  • Capability and desire to build strong internal / external network within the healthcare industry
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, prioritize across multiple initiatives, and navigate change / ambiguity effectively and with professional maturity

The Salary Range for the role is $85,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year.
