Lead the Way to Intelligent Banking with Us!

You might not think about what happens behind the scenes when you check your bank balance or deposit a check from your phone, but we do. Every day.

Kinective empowers banks and credit unions to move beyond keeping up with technology to shaping the future of banking. Our platform seamlessly connects the right tools, delivers real-time data, and drives smarter operations for more than 4,000 financial institutions nationwide. We are a fast-growing team built on individual ownership, company-wide collaboration, and setting industry-leading standards. Here, new ideas are encouraged, candid feedback is welcomed, and your growth truly matters as much as the company’s. At Kinective, we are leading the way to intelligent banking together and enjoying the journey along the way.

Why This Role Matters

As the Manager, Implementations, you will lead the execution of client implementations within Kinective’s Data Intelligence organization. You will provide technical guidance across SQL, data structures, and integrations, ensuring work is clearly defined, technically sound, and delivered efficiently.

Operating as a hands-on player-coach, you will bridge delivery and engineering—driving clarity, removing blockers, and serving as the first line of support for team execution. You will balance technical involvement with team ownership, helping deliver solutions that meet client objectives and business outcomes.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Implementations, you will manage Implementation Analysts and Data Engineers.

What you’ll own:

Client Implementation Delivery

• Own day-to-day execution of Data Intelligence implementations, ensuring work is properly sequenced, tracked, and delivered on time.

• Partner with Project Managers to align on scope, timelines, and deliverables.

• Act as the primary escalation point for delivery-related issues, removing blockers and driving resolution.

• Keep client objectives at the center of delivery; proactively identify risks, communicate clearly, and align solutions to business outcomes.

Technical Leadership & Guidance

• Provide technical guidance across SQL/query development, data modeling and table structures, and data transformations and integrations.

• Review and validate solution approaches before development begins.

• Help decompose complex requirements into clear, executable tasks.

• Step in when necessary to demonstrate an approach, validate or correct direction, and unblock work without taking ownership away from the team.

Execution Readiness & Quality Standards

• Ensure work meets a clear Definition of Ready, including defined data sources and dependencies, clear expected outputs, and sufficient context to execute without rework.

• Eliminate inefficiencies caused by unclear or fragmented requirements, and standardize how work is documented and handed off.

• Enforce design validation before build and ensure all production-bound work undergoes peer review.

• Maintain high standards for data accuracy, query performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Reduce rework through early validation and structured execution.

Team Leadership & Coaching

• Lead the daily team execution rhythm, including standups, work reviews, and prioritization.

• Mentor team members on problem-solving approaches, structuring technical solutions, and writing efficient, maintainable SQL.

• Foster ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement, knowing when to step in and when to step back.

• Support onboarding and development of Implementation Analysts.

Process Improvement & Delivery Efficiency

• Identify recurring bottlenecks and inefficiencies in delivery.

• Recommend and implement practical process improvements that keep work moving and improve delivery outcomes.

• Build and reinforce reusable patterns for common queries, transformations, and integrations.

How We’ll Measure Success

• Predictable, on-time delivery across implementations.

• Reduced rework and fewer delivery escalations.

• Faster cycle time from intake to completion.

• High-quality, consistent outputs across the team.

• Engineers spending more time building and less time clarifying requirements.

• Strong team ownership with minimal dependency on senior leadership.

Success here isn’t about checking boxes – it’s about propelling Kinective’s mission to lead the way to intelligent banking. You must bring excellence to your craft, balance resourcefulness with respect, share and celebrate unique expertise and diverse perspectives, and continuously raise the bar as we innovate and grow.

Necessary Qualifications & Competencies

Required

• 5+ years of experience in technical delivery, engineering, or data-focused roles.

• Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring technical delivery teams.

• Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, data modeling and table design, and data transformation and integration patterns.

• Ability to read, understand, and guide technical solutions, earning credibility without needing to code everything yourself.

• Experience working in client-facing delivery environments.

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguous requirements and keep execution on track.

• A practical, outcomes-focused approach that balances hands-on guidance, team ownership, and a strong client experience.

Preferred

• Experience with platforms such as Oracle HeatWave or similar data/lakehouse environments.

• Background in financial services, fintech, or data-driven products.

• Experience within Professional Services or Implementations organizations.

• Familiarity with structured delivery methodologies.
