As Manager, Corporate Accounting (Global Consolidation), you will play a key role in Prologis’ global financial close and consolidation process, helping ensure accurate and timely consolidated financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP. You will manage complex consolidation activities across a multinational organization with 100+ legal entities, multiple currencies, significant intercompany activity, and more than 50 fund and joint venture investments. You will also serve as the accounting subject matter expert and functional business owner for Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS). This role partners closely with regional accounting teams, Accounting Systems, Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, and other stakeholders to strengthen controls, improve processes, and deliver scalable global solutions.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Manage key aspects of the global close and consolidation process in Oracle FCCS, ensuring consolidated financial information is complete, accurate, and delivered within established reporting timelines.
  • Own the review and reporting of Prologis’ share of equity earnings and noncontrolling interests for more than 50 fund and joint venture investments, including reviewing underlying calculations for consistency with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies.
  • Serve as the accounting subject matter expert and functional business owner for Oracle FCCS, overseeing consolidation requirements, metadata governance, hierarchies, business rules, close processes, and reporting structures in partnership with Accounting Systems.
  • Evaluate and resolve complex consolidation matters involving ownership changes, intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, acquisitions, contributions, and other significant transactions, partnering with Technical Accounting and regional teams as appropriate.
  • Lead analytical reviews of consolidated and regional financial submissions, identifying unusual trends, inconsistencies, and potential reporting issues and driving resolution before financial results are finalized.
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve consolidation policies, process documentation, and internal controls supporting SOX compliance, while identifying opportunities to automate activities, reduce manual entries and reconciliations, strengthen exception-based review, and shorten the global close cycle.
  • Build strong partnerships across regional and global accounting teams to promote consistent consolidation practices, implement scalable solutions, provide technical guidance, and lead and develop accounting professionals through clear priorities, feedback, and coaching.

Building blocks for successRequired:
  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant experience with U.S. GAAP and global consolidation and/or public-company financial reporting.
  • Experience managing complex multinational consolidations involving 100+ legal entities, multiple currencies, and significant intercompany activity.
  • Experience applying accounting principles related to foreign currency translation, intercompany eliminations, equity method investments, and noncontrolling interests.
  • Demonstrated accounting judgment and ability to evaluate and resolve complex consolidation and financial reporting matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex workstreams and lead cross-functional and global initiatives without direct authority.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing accounting professionals, including establishing priorities, reviewing deliverables, providing actionable feedback, and managing deadlines.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Advanced experience with Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and demonstrated aptitude working with financial systems.
  • Experience leading automation, process improvement, or change initiatives from identification through implementation.
  • Ability to communicate complex accounting matters clearly and effectively across technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates willingness and capability to leverage emerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed. Exercises sound judgment, creative thinking, and accountability for outcomes.

Hiring Salary Range of: $125,000 - $150,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
