This role builds the next generation of order orchestration platforms for Boost Mobile, integrating artificial intelligence to manage complex system lifecycles. You will solve the challenge of bridging the gap between AI research and production-grade engineering to ensure reliable, high-scale performance in a fast-paced environment. Success is defined by the technical vision and implementation of scalable AI-driven applications and the underlying infrastructure that supports them.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives):

• Establish platform architecture and technical standards for AI-integrated systems across the enterprise order orchestration ecosystem.
• Direct technical roadmaps and architectural governance to balance strategic feature delivery with organizational platform reliability and lifecycle health.
• Define organization-wide standards for automated CI/CD pipelines, release governance, and high-performance continuous delivery frameworks.
• Spearhead enterprise frameworks for AI model operationalization, version governance, and telemetry monitoring within mission-critical production environments.
• Eliminate systemic performance bottlenecks and enforce data architecture standards across distributed platform domains.
• Provide strategic technical mentorship across multi-team engineering groups and establish software design policies for engineering excellence.

• Executive communication capabilities to articulate technical strategy, architectural decisions, and enterprise trade-offs to technical and organizational stakeholders.
• Mastery of modern backend systems engineering utilizing languages including Java, Python, or Go alongside enterprise software design patterns.
• Comprehensive expertise in establishing distributed system architectures and governing microservice ecosystems across cloud platforms.
• Deep expertise in relational and NoSQL data architectures, enterprise data modeling, and performance optimization for high-throughput platforms.
• Strategic architectural knowledge of real-time event streaming and complex workflow orchestration in large-scale transactional environments.
• Advanced AI innovation capabilities to transition research-grade artificial intelligence models into resilient, enterprise-scale production architectures.

• Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Minimum Experience: 5+ years of experience in the development and implementation of enterprise-wide Java-based solutions; 5+ years of experience with Microservices architecture

• Required Technical Skills: Must have experience with:

  • Java Technologies (Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud)

  • Real-time streaming and orchestration (Kafka, AWS Step Functions)

  • Distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS, OCI, or Azure)

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
