We are seeking a seasoned software development engineer and architect with deep expertise in third-party API integration. In this role, you will drive the design, development, and implementation of robust, scalable APIs that connect our core .NET services to external partners and platforms. You will be hands-on helping the team to deliver high-quality software solutions on schedule.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and design of third-party API integrations, covering authentication, data mapping, error handling, retry logic, and performance optimization
  • Develop and maintain .NET-based integration components using C#
  • Define and enforce API standards, including RESTful conventions, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, and versioning strategies
  • Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, and partner engineering teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Implement robust security measures such as OAuth2, JWT, certificate-based authentication, and encryption in transit and at rest
  • Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and provide hands-on mentoring to ensure high code quality and adherence to architectural principles
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, leveraging logging, tracing, and monitoring tools
  • Document integration patterns, message flows, interface contracts, and operational runbooks
  • Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and integration patterns to improve reliability, scalability, and developer productivity

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience as a software developer, primarily using C#
  • Proven track record designing and building high-throughput, secure, and maintainable APIs
  • Deep understanding of RESTful design principles, OpenAPI, JSON, XML, and related serialization technologies
  • Hands-on experience with API security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, mutual TLS) and threat mitigation techniques
  • Strong grasp of common integration patterns such as request/response, publish/subscribe, event-driven, and batch processing
  • Solid background in relational and NoSQL databases, as well as caching mechanisms
  • Experience with creating CI/CD pipelines supporting Infrastructure as Code (IAC)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze performance bottlenecks using profiling and logging tools
  • Outstanding communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience integrating with major third-party platforms
  • Experience in microservices architecture, including Docker containers and orchestration platforms
  • Prior exposure to cloud-native integration services on Azure
  • Understanding of message broker systems and streaming architectures
  • Knowledge of distributed tracing standards and observability best practices
  • Background in Agile/Scrum environments with iterative delivery and cross-functional collaboration
