About ShipHawk

ShipHawk is on a mission to become the operating system for modern commerce operations. Our advanced Transportation Management System (TMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) help retailers, wholesalers, and ecommerce companies simplify complex fulfillment operations, reduce costs, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

We bring enterprise-level shipping and warehouse capabilities to mid-market businesses, empowering them to compete with the largest companies in the world.

As we continue to innovate, we're embedding AI, automation, and data intelligence into our platform to make fulfillment operations smarter, faster, and increasingly autonomous.

If you're excited about building impactful products at the intersection of logistics, SaaS, and AI, we'd love to meet you.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Platform Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of ShipHawk's core Transportation Management System (TMS) and shared platform capabilities.

In this role, you'll drive innovation across critical shipping workflows, including rate shopping, carrier selection, shipment execution, and documentation, while helping shape the future of AI-powered automation across our TMS and WMS products.

You'll collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Sales, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that create measurable value for our customers.

The ideal candidate combines strong product management fundamentals with hands-on logistics or supply chain expertise, technical curiosity, and a passion for using emerging technologies to solve real-world operational challenges.

Success in this role will be measured by product adoption, customer retention, revenue impact, and measurable improvements in shipping efficiency and operational costs.

What You'll Do

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own and execute the product strategy and roadmap for ShipHawk's core TMS and shared platform capabilities.

  • Prioritize initiatives based on customer needs, business impact, market opportunities, and engineering capacity.

  • Conduct ongoing customer discovery to understand shipping, warehouse, and operational challenges.

  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments to identify opportunities for differentiation.

  • Define clear product success metrics and measure performance following launch.

AI & Platform Innovation

  • Help define and execute ShipHawk's AI strategy across TMS and WMS, identifying opportunities to automate manual workflows and improve decision-making.

  • Partner with Engineering to develop scalable platform foundations, including shared data models, APIs, and reliable shipment and event data.

  • Evaluate opportunities to build, buy, or partner on AI capabilities, considering customer value, cost, scalability, and risk.

  • Collaborate with other Product Managers to deliver consistent, integrated capabilities across ShipHawk's platform.

  • Explore emerging AI technologies, including agentic workflows and intelligent automation, to improve customer productivity.

Product Development & Execution

  • Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Partner closely with Engineering and UX to manage priorities, resolve tradeoffs, and deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and planning through development, launch, and optimization.

  • Balance strategic priorities with day-to-day execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Use product analytics, customer feedback, and performance data to guide decisions and continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Success to support successful product launches and adoption.

  • Contribute to go-to-market planning, product positioning, pricing discussions, and internal enablement.

  • Communicate product strategy, priorities, and results effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Build strong relationships across teams and serve as a trusted product expert.

  • Share product management best practices and support the development of less experienced team members.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management or a closely related product development role.

  • Hands-on experience with logistics, transportation management, ecommerce fulfillment, distribution, or supply chain technology.

  • Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end product lifecycle for software products.

  • Strong ability to define product requirements, prioritize roadmaps, and make informed tradeoffs.

  • Experience collaborating closely with Engineering teams to deliver technical products and features.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and customer insights into actionable decisions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with customers, engineers, and executives.

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, take ownership, and deliver results in a fast-moving environment.

  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a willingness to challenge assumptions, embrace feedback, and continuously improve.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing B2B SaaS products, ideally within TMS, WMS, or logistics technology.

  • Experience developing or launching AI/ML-powered product features, including measuring adoption and business outcomes.

  • Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), agentic AI, workflow automation, and AI evaluation methodologies.

  • Experience building shared platform services, APIs, or capabilities used across multiple product lines.

  • Familiarity with ERP integrations and workflows, particularly NetSuite, Acumatica, or Sage Intacct.

  • Experience with product management and analytics tools such as Jira, Confluence, Postman, Looker, FullStory, Pendo, Salesforce, or Google Workspace.
