Job Description Summary

The Intermediate Business Systems Analyst acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, supporting and enhancing critical business applications. The role combines business analysis, application support, process improvement, testing, and governance activities to ensure systems effectively meet business, regulatory, and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, document, and analyze business and system requirements.
  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Perform hands-on application configuration and data-processing activities, translating business requirements into controlled system, data-processing, and operational changes.
  • Create and maintain process flows, business procedures, and system documentation.
  • Support Business Applications through incident analysis, issue resolution, testing, and enhancement activities.
  • Analyze data quality, reporting, and process issues and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate with vendors, developers, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver solutions.
  • Develop and execute test scenarios and support user acceptance testing.
  • Support audits, access reviews, compliance activities, and application governance processes.
  • Maintain application knowledge and identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a trusted liaison between business users and technology teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience, preferably in IT or a business area discipline. Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in business analysis. 2-4 years of industry experience preferred.

Compensation

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $70,000 - $80,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.


Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.

This is a hybrid position requiring three days in office per week in one of our hub locations (Philadelphia, PA; Cedar Rapids, IA; Denver, CO).  Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
