Bridge Specialty Group is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to join our growing team! 

    

This position is ideal for someone eager to launch a career in the insurance industry, with a strong interest in sales, customer service, and professional development. You will play a key role in expanding our current operation by helping to build customer relationships and supporting our sales initiatives. This teammate will solicit, establish, and maintain rapport with retail agents to secure new and renewal business as well as participate in USLI’s 50/50 Sales training program.  

Candidates will be engaged in a 24-month training and development program that will prepare the participant to become a superior insurance professional. The focus of the training program will be to increase new submissions, quotes, binders, and premiums over the phone. 

 

How You Will Contribute:   

  •   Conduct outbound calls to retail agents to drive new opportunities in, convert leads to submissions and turn quotes into bind orders. Weekly reporting of sales calls and results is expected. 

  • Educate customers on quoting platforms and services. 

  • Drive daily submissions goals and relay information to the marketing team to maximize opportunities. 

  • Review web and phone quoting activities to spot positive and negative trends and address trends with customers and team. 

  • Establish an active relationship with the territory of sales executives and regularly discuss strategy and tactics including training, sales issues and follow-up. 

  • Resolve agent issues as they arise. 

  • Assist underwriters to place business. 

  • Pursue a path of personal and professional development. 

 

Licenses and Certifications:    

  •   P&C insurance license within 90 days of employment. 

 

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:  

  • Self-motivated, independent personality with the ability to work with little supervision. 

  • Excellent time management skills. 

  • Positive and energetic phone demeanor. 

  • Proficiency with MS Office – particularly PowerPoint and Excel. 

  • High level of integrity.

  • Problem solving skills and professional conduct. 

  • Ability to establish and build relationships. 

  • Open to coaching and continuous improvement. 

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment. 

  • This position may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position.

Pay Range

$26.45 - $31.25 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
