Ibotta is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our growing Human Resources Team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. The Human Resources Coordinator will be assisting our Benefits Manager with all aspects of benefits administration and will help ensure that HR operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is proficient in Excel, a critical thinker and has helped manage ad hoc human resources related tasks at a fast-growing, dynamic company.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.
What you will be doing:
Benefit Administration Tasks:

  • Benefits vendor file feed integration monitoring
  • 401k eligibility processing and service request resolution
  • Reviewing and processing benefit events in Workday
  • Answering questions and guiding employees on qualifying life events
  • Maintaining and updating benefits documents and resources in Workday
  • Leave of absence tracking updates and absence reconciliation between our leave of absence vendor and Workday


HR Administration Tasks:

  • Biweekly payroll audits for HSA contributions to our spending account vendor
  • Perform administrative tasks for Ibotta's HR team including: account creations and tax audits, review mail items and upload notices and garnishments, and assist with year end processing and annual tax filings
  • Assist with equity slate preparation, reconciliation of board consent, and updating Workday to reflect board approvals
  • Respond to census reporting requests

What we are looking for:

  • 1-3+ years of experience in a payroll, human resources, or benefit administration role
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with Workday is a plus
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexibility, accountability, & resourcefulness
  • Ability to work with little direction in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Ability to operate autonomously with an extreme attention to detail

Additional Details:

  • This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, Employee Stock Purchase Program, and 401k match. Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks and occasional meals.
  • Base compensation range: $55,000-$65,000. Equity is included in overall compensation package. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience.
