The HR Manager will lead HR functions in a manufacturing setting, focusing on strategy development, recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
We are seeking an HR Manager to lead and manage the Human Resources function in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving HR initiatives, overseeing HR operations, and ensuring compliance with labour laws and internal policies, while fostering a productive and engaging workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and act as a strategic advisor to senior management
- Oversee workforce planning to ensure optimal staffing levels and talent development
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for factory and corporate roles
- Implement onboarding, retention, and employee engagement strategies
- Design and manage performance appraisal systems
- Provide coaching, counselling, and support to managers and employees
- Lead employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes
- Identify training needs and drive learning and development initiatives, including leadership development and succession planning
- Ensure competitive and compliant compensation and benefits structure
- Coordinate payroll inputs with Finance
- Ensure HR policies are updated and compliant with labour laws and safety regulations
- Oversee HR documentation, audits, and reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s is an advantage)
- 5 - 7 years of HR experience
- Manufacturing or industrial experience is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
- Experience in employee relations, change management, and HR operations
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
