PatientIQ is a fast-growing health tech company on a mission to improve patient outcomes. We partner with healthcare providers, medical device companies, and researchers to collect, analyze, and act on patient-reported outcomes data at scale — powering smarter clinical decisions and accelerating the future of value-based care.
Headquartered in Chicago and backed by top-tier venture capital and major health system investors, PatientIQ is building the largest platform for healthcare providers, industry partners, and researchers to collaborate on what matters most: helping patients get better.
The opportunityWe're looking for an Enterprise BDR to drive net-new pipeline by prospecting into and engaging senior stakeholders at large, complex healthcare organizations. You'll own the top of the funnel for our enterprise segment — researching target accounts, crafting personalized outreach, and booking qualified meetings for Account Executives. This role requires someone comfortable navigating multi-stakeholder buying committees and the longer sales cycles typical of enterprise deals.
What you'll doOutbound Prospecting
- Conduct outbound prospecting (email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels) into enterprise-level target accounts
- Leverage AI tools to research accounts, map buying committees within target accounts, and to personalize outreach at scale — while ensuring messaging still feels human and relevant.
- Personalize outreach based on account-specific context, trigger events, and relevant use cases
Qualification & Handoff
- Comfortable using AI-powered sales tools (e.g., for prospecting research, email/message drafting, or call summarization) to work faster and smarter, not just to increase volume.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads against our ICP (ideal customer profile) and BANT/MEDDIC-style criteria
- Book and hand off qualified meetings, ensuring smooth transition of context to the AE team
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the CRM (activity, notes, next steps)
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner closely with Account Executives and Marketing on account-based campaigns and target account lists
- Continuously test and refine outreach messaging, sequences, and cadences
Performance
- Consistently hit or exceed monthly/quarterly pipeline generation targets
We believe clarity drives performance. Here's what the first 90 days look like in this role:
- 30 days: Ramped on product, ICP, and messaging; territory and target account list built; prospecting cadences live.
- 60 days: Consistent outbound volume and multi-threaded outreach into target accounts; qualified meetings booked and tracked against pipeline targets.
- 90 days: Hitting monthly pipeline generation targets; messaging and cadences refined based on early results; strong AE handoff process in place.
RequirementsWhat you bring
Required
- Prior experience as a BDR/SDR in B2B SaaS, with a track record of outbound prospecting into enterprise accounts
- Experience researching and engaging multiple stakeholders within a single target account (not just single-threaded outreach)
- Comfort with a longer, more consultative sales cycle versus SMB/mid-market prospecting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to craft compelling, personalized outreach at scale
- Familiarity with sales engagement tools (Sales Navigator, Outreach, Salesloft,) and CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Resilient, coachable, and metrics-driven — comfortable with high-volume outreach and a fair amount of rejection
- Strong organizational skills to manage a large territory of accounts and contacts
Nice to have
- Experience in US B2B SaaS healthcare technology
- Familiarity with ABM tools (6sense, CommonRoom, ZoomInfo, etc.)
- Experience with a structured sales methodology (MEDDIC, Challenger, Command of the Message, etc.)
