Integrity Communications Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Engineer IV – Senior Systems Engineer/Technical Lead to support mission critical cyber and space-related programs. This role provides authoritative technical leadership across system design, development, integration, testing, and operational support for advanced mission planning and operational systems. The Engineer IV is responsible for technical decision making with broad program impact, guiding engineering teams, and serving as a principal technical advisor to government stakeholders and internal leadership. The position requires a high degree of creativity, foresight, and independent judgment, along with the ability to resolve complex and often controversial technical issues. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 15+ years of progressively responsible engineering experience supporting complex DoD, Intelligence Community, or aerospace systems.
- Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams or acting as a Technical Lead or Senior Systems Engineer.
- Extensive knowledge of systems engineering principles, including requirements management, architecture development, integration, verification, and validation.
- Strong understanding of cyber systems, IT infrastructure, hardware/software interfaces, and operational environments.
- Experience supporting classified programs with the ability to operate independently.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
- Ability to work onsite due to classified program requirements.
- Willingness to travel up to 80%, as mission needs dictate.
- Security+ certification (or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 compliant certification).
- Experience with protected MILSATCOM, space/ground systems, or mission operations.
- Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools, digital engineering, and mission planning environments.
- Knowledge of spacecraft subsystems, telemetry, and command & control operations.
- Experience with system test planning, operational acceptance testing, and mission readiness reviews.
- Background working across multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced, agile development environments.
- Prior experience interfacing directly with senior government leadership and external partner organizations.
- Serve as Technical Lead for assigned Programs, Providing Authoritative engineering guidance across the systems lifecycle.
- Lead and oversee the design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of complex cyber, space, and mission planning systems.
- Make and recommend high-impact technical decisions that influence program architecture, performance, and long-term capability.
- Act as a Systems Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME), advising senior government and contractor leadership on technical approaches and risk mitigation.
- Mentor and guide team leads, senior engineers, and cross- functional engineering teams.
- Coordinate and negotiate technical solutions with external organizations, vendors, and partner agencies, including resolution of critical or controversial issues.
- Develop and deliver technical instruction and knowledge transfer as an Instructor for systems, tools, and operational concepts.
- Perform IPASC duties, including:
- Systems Engineer
- Instructor
- Alternate FDA
- Alternate CAN
- Support system accreditation, compliance, and operational readiness activities.
- Ensure engineering solutions align with operational user needs, security requirements, and mission objectives.
- Provide technical oversight for system documentation, architecture artifacts, and test plans.
- Operate with general administrative direction while exercising independent technical judgment.
- Salary Range: $110,000 - $135,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
