Senior Systems Engineer supporting DoD satellite communications ground and system-of-systems programs. The role owns complex technical problem spaces, integrates work across engineering teams, develops requirements and architectures, coordinates integration and verification, manages technical risks and dependencies, supports testing and technical baselines, and contributes to engineering processes and reviews. The engineer also mentors peers, facilitates technical working groups, and communicates recommendations to program and customer stakeholders.

Supports DoD SATCOM ground and system-of-systems programs through requirements development, architecture, interface definition, integration, verification, testing, cybersecurity, digital engineering, and configuration management. Owns defined engineering scope, coordinates multidisciplinary teams, resolves technical issues and dependencies, manages risks, contributes to technical reviews and Agile planning, and mentors less experienced engineers.

Supports systems engineering for DoD satellite communications ground and system-of-systems programs. Responsibilities include requirements development and traceability, architecture and interface definition, integration and verification, test planning and execution, digital engineering, configuration and data management, risk management, cybersecurity coordination, and technical documentation. The role collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, participates in Agile ceremonies and engineering reviews, and supports mission-critical capabilities for the warfighter.

Supports corporate branding, communications, social media, website content, newsletters, events, and outreach initiatives. Creates and distributes marketing materials, manages professional social media content, coordinates media assets, tracks engagement metrics, and maintains brand consistency across internal and external communications. Collaborates with engineering, HR, leadership, and business divisions while supporting trade shows, conferences, employee engagement, and defense- and space-focused communications.

Develops, validates, tests, implements, and deploys protected SATCOM mission products, with emphasis on AEHF systems. Supports communications architectures, mission planning, coalition operations, crypto, modeling, simulation, troubleshooting, system integration, and user training. Interfaces with military, government, contractor, and technical stakeholders while ensuring export control and data separation. Requires support for rotating 24/7 on-call responsibilities, surge operations, and domestic and international travel.

Supports command-and-control systems engineering for a DoD SATCOM ground systems program. Responsibilities include developing requirements, architecture and interface artifacts, maintaining traceability, supporting integration and verification planning, conducting engineering analyses and trade studies, and participating in Agile ceremonies, technical reviews, working groups, and baseline activities. The role collaborates with software, cybersecurity, integration, and multidisciplinary engineering teams in an MBSE environment.

Provides authoritative technical leadership across the design, development, integration, testing, deployment, accreditation, and sustainment of classified cyber, space, and mission-planning systems. Makes high-impact architecture and engineering decisions, advises government and contractor leadership, mentors engineering teams, coordinates with partners and vendors, develops technical instruction, and supports operational readiness. The role requires extensive DoD or aerospace systems experience, active clearance, onsite work in Colorado Springs, and up to 80% travel.

Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity infrastructure for mission-critical DoD networks. Perform risk and vulnerability assessments, configure cyber architectures, integrate security controls, monitor systems, respond to incidents, and apply emerging technologies. The role supports Zero Trust, DevSecOps, RMF processes, system certification and authorization, and DoD acquisition requirements while leveraging tools such as CRIBL, GitLab, Kubernetes, and Splunk.

Lead development, validation, testing, and deployment of protected SATCOM mission products for AEHF International Partners. Provide systems engineering, coalition communications planning, modeling/simulation, troubleshooting, training, and operational support while ensuring export control and data separation and supporting 24/7 on-call and surge requirements.
