Job Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a strategic, high-ownership expert to lead our enterprise-wide assessment and survey strategy. This is not just a coordination role; you will be the architect of how we measure potential, job fit, and engagement. You will bridge the gap between behavioral science and business operations, ensuring that every tool we use—from pre-hire selection to employee engagement—is ethical, valid, and actionable.

As a key member of the Talent Development team, you will collaborate on high-stakes initiatives like our hiring processes, Succession Planning and High-Potential (HIPO) identification, ensuring our talent decisions are backed by data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment Architecture: Design, launch, and manage a comprehensive selection and development assessment program; you will determine which tools are fit-for-purpose to identify top talent and accelerate leadership growth
  • Employee Experience Strategy: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of our employee voice strategy; this includes selecting the right technology platforms, designing scientifically sound survey items, and determining the optimal cadence for engagement and pulse surveys
  • Stakeholder Empowerment: Act as the internal consultant for HR and business leaders; you will develop training and resources that demystify assessment data, ensuring stakeholders use results ethically and effectively to make talent decisions
  • Insight into Action: Move beyond "reporting data" to "telling stories" you will lead the effort in helping executives and managers interpret survey results and facilitate meaningful action-planning sessions that drive organizational change
  • Integrated Talent Strategy: Partner closely with Talent Development colleagues to integrate assessment data into hiring decisions, leadership development programs, succession planning, and HIPO programs, ensuring a "whole person" view of our talent pipeline
  • Trend Monitoring: Serve as the internal subject matter expert on industry trends, emerging IO psychology research, and the evolving vendor landscape to keep our programs modern and competitive

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • A Masters Degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology (or a closely related field) is highly preferred to ensure the scientific integrity of our programs
  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in Talent Development
  • HR program/project management experience in a complex, multi-functional, and global environment

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven Impact: You have a track record of building and implementing selection assessment processes and development programs that embed assessments
  • Strategic Survey Design: You possess a deep understanding of survey methodology, psychometrics, and the "Employee Experience" ecosystem
  • Consultative Influence: You can translate complex data into clear, persuasive insights for non-technical senior leaders
  • High Ownership & Accountability: You thrive in roles where you own the "North Star" of a program; you are comfortable taking full responsibility for the success, ethics, and ROI of our assessment tools
  • Ethics & Compliance: Deep knowledge of the legal and ethical considerations of testing (e.g., EEOC guidelines, adverse impact analysis, and data privacy)
